How it runs
- Smooth spray-like transfer with a fast freezing slag for out of position work
- Nickel addition raises impact toughness in cold service
- Heat input must be controlled to protect the specified impact values
- Full slag coverage and a clean, well washed bead face
Storage and handling
Alloy flux cored wire is moisture sensitive. Keep spools in sealed foil packaging with desiccant and rebag or oven store opened spools.
